Deishu Expeditions offers a wide selection of guided kayak trips as well as kayak rentals. Trips vary from 3 hour lake and coastwise excursions in the Haines area for cruise ship passengers and independent travelers, to 10 day Juneau to Haines sightseeing adventures with custom kayak adventures by special arrangement. Winter trips to Baja and Greece are also offered. Power boat rentals are also available.
Prices are $85.00/person for a guided half-day trip and $125 for a full day. Trips average $160/person/day for multiple-day guided kayaking.

State Ferry: Daily scheduled sailings in summer in the Lynn Canal Fjord connect Haines, Skagway and Juneau with each other and to the other cities in S.E. Alaska and to the main southern ports in Prince Rupert, Canada and Bellingham, Washington. There are fewer scheduled weekly sailings in winter.
